It is a technology used for projects of PtP radio links of Carrier Class with high availability (around 99.999%). The main advantage is that such devices are free from interference and give bandwidth depending on the chosen frequency and channel width. They require a ministerial grant, from the submission of a project, which is the one who assigns the requested band. This band is for the contractor to pay an annual fee in the case of a company and whether it is a public body there is no annual fee if the radio link is in self-PaP (in any other scenario, the agency will as a firm with the same obligations as those).
