It is a technology used on projects that require high performance wireless access, where the volume of operations per access point will be high and where it is wanted more advanced features such as: attack control, interference management, user control, high security, quality of service, etc... Such systems use a controller (which gives its name to technology) that governs all access points that just have radio electronics. All processes typical of conventional WiFi access points, are centralized in the controller, providing high functionality and superior added value to corporate communications. In this type of infrastructure it is possible to ensure that protocols or services with a high need and low latency operation, such as IP telephony, do not exhibit problems. Very suitable for companies or institutions where the capacity and wireless network security are very important. The radio of the access points can operate according to standards: 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n (draft). The first works in the 5.4 GHz band with speeds of around 54Mbps (radio), the second standard (802.11b) achieves speeds up to 5.5 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, the third usually goes up to 54Mbps (but there are devices that can get more) at 2.4 Ghz and finally the last, which also is to appear: 802.11n can achieve speeds of up to 300Mbps (real and sustained talk about 100Mbps) at 2.4 GHz.
Although we work with many brands, we outstand because of its quality and functionality the follows:
